Founder & CEO
A mother with a mission and an entrepreneur with over 20 years of media experience, Natalie Boll has led teams and produced award-winning projects. Inspired by her own experiences, she founded Tribela, a platform designed to empower teens with safe, authentic, and meaningful digital experiences, prioritizing safety, privacy, and user autonomy.
Currently in development, Tribela is redefining social media by giving users control over their online experiences. Natalie is building a passionate team to bring this vision to life and invites others to join her mission to create a better digital future for the next generation.
Zhifeng Chen is an entrepreneur with a PhD in International Development and an MSc in Contemporary Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford. His expertise lies in the Chinese economy, with a particular focus on its digital industries and consumer ecosystems. Combining deep academic knowledge with hands-on business experience, Zhifeng drives innovative solutions in the fast-evolving tech and platform economy.
Marit brings a unique blend of social science and digital design expertise to Tribela. Currently a graduate student in philosophy, Marit leads our design team with a deep commitment to ethical principles in technology. Her work explores how embodied knowledge shapes decision-making, underscoring her focus on core values like agency, equality, and privacy. With her strong grounding in ethics and epistemology, Marit ensures that Tribela is a platform where safety and user empowerment go hand in hand.
Gatis has 15 years of experience in research spanning physics and computer science. He holds a PhD in theoretical physics and is a PhD candidate in computer science. His research over the past 7 years has involved machine learning for language, stock market data as well as human mental health. He has studied and deployed the latest range of models and techniques to real-world problems, often involving noisy datasets. Gatis is also a co-founder of Veer, a British start-up developing pioneering machine learning applications for recruitment. The start-up has since attracted a strategic industry partner and grown to 10+ people.
Rachel Bautista is a results-driven marketer, specializing at the intersection of brand and product marketing across the tech industry. As an engineer turned marketer, she offers a unique blend of strategic and analytical thinking with a deep appreciation of consumer behavior and creativity. She currently works as an advisor, utilising her 20+ yrs of experience to help early-stage businesses develop more innovative and customer-focused marketing and product strategies that drive results. Prior to her advisory work, she was Head of Marketing at Meta, where she built, scaled, and drove partner marketing efforts across APAC, LATAM, and MEA regions that contributed to growing user bases from 0 to 100M. She has also led integrated marketing efforts for Visa’s emerging and flagship products, strategic partnerships and Olympics sponsorships that had significant impact on brand metrics and payment volume. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from Cornell University.
With over a decade of experience at Meta, Pinterest, and Amazon, Sakshi has held various leadership roles in enterprise sales and product marketing. Specializing in programmatic media buying solutions and consumer privacy, Sakshi has been at the forefront of developing innovative strategies that drive business growth and ensure user transparency and compliance with how people’s data is being used.
In her advisory role for Tribela, Sakshi brings a wealth of expertise in strategic consulting, market analysis, and enterprise technology solutions, coupled with a thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape. Her insights and guidance are instrumental in helping organizations navigate complex challenges in the evolving consumer privacy and the trust / transparency space.
Prior to working in tech, Sakshi spent five years in strategy consulting at L.E.K. Consulting, primarily advising private equity clients on market entry and acquisition strategy. Sakshi earned a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University in 2007 and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley in 2012.
Britt is a Los Angeles-based social media and branding strategist with over a decade of experience helping start-ups establish thriving communities, build creator networks, and craft compelling content that has reached millions. With a focus on the human connection behind digital platforms, Britt prioritizes creating meaningful relationships between brands and their audiences to foster loyalty and lasting engagement. From launching new ventures to scaling brands through multi-million-dollar growth, Britt has been a trusted partner in driving impactful, results-oriented strategies.
Alen, with over 20 years of cybersecurity experience at the Bank of Zagreb, offers Tribela essential guidance on safeguarding against online threats. His expertise in building secure digital infrastructures ensures that Tribela provides a safe environment where teens can connect with confidence.
